This and so much more in this episode of Inside the Raven's Eye. Thanks for listening and enjoy. Alright, here we are, episode 48 of Survival Essentials, Food Gathering. Always stay calm and nourished. This episode is necessity. That is no water pretty much equals no food. And gosh. If I think about necessity of I'll say water is what I'm thinking about. Uh, you know, again, for me, I have much more to to learn in these areas, but I've done it at least a couple times, one in society, once up in the mountains by myself, and kind of just wanted uh well spirit guided me to do these things, for sure. But I remember the second time being in the raw wilderness doing that. The that's when r water really hit me after the the all those days, and then taking the first drink of water. You you think you're thankful for water, and then for me at least, that was when I was for me personally, was like that moment of like wow. Like thank like a thank like a genuine thank you, uh is how I want to put it. Like a very genuine, probably the most thankful I've ever been for just even a sip of water at that moment. And then following that, I remember I it was just a cliff bar, you know. I had a hike out of there. You've been on the hike. I'm glad I brought food there. It was, you know, it would have been foolish not to. But that cliff bar, oh my gosh, was I so thankful for that. That cliff bar tasted so good. But yeah, for for me, just the gratitude level. I know we've talked about that and the importance of that in the last episode, and even the ones before that, and so many of these episodes, the power of gratitude and in this necessity of these things, and also this no food to or no water means no food, giving a moment of reminding ourselves to say thank you in that situation, to say, okay, I don't have water, so I'm not gonna be eating, and thank you for reminding me of that to help me survive in this situation. I think that goes a long way. So with that, I'll hand it over to you. Awesome.

Yeah, so the necessity of food gathering just kind of comes down to if you don't have access to water, if you don't have any water, don't eat. Have you ever sat down and had a meal and then not had a drink during it, and then not taking a drink after it until your next meal, and then eat your second meal, and then don't drink, don't drink during that meal, and then don't drink during that time period, and then eat again, and don't drink anything during that whole time. How does that feel so far? How many times when you really, in fact, just next time you sit down to eat, at what point are you wanting to reach for that drink, no matter what kind of drink it is, something to we might call it wash it down, we might be thinking like, well, because I'm thirsty, I need to get some liquid in there. So, in survival essentials, if you don't have water to keep yourself hydrated, do not eat food. Food without water equals dehydration. It will take the water that you already have in reserve in your body and utilize it in the process of digestion, etc. So it's a no-no. The psychology of fasting and going without food and water in your own home as you go and turn on the tap and then open the fridge and just kind of look at them. And just tell yourself, I'm not gonna have either one of them. Look at that, I got running water right here in my house. I'm not even gonna drink it. I'm gonna deprive myself of this wonderful thing that seems to be trickling into my own home. And all that food in my fridge, I'm not gonna eat any of it. Oh, maybe my mind says, but what if that goes bad? Oh, that's a tricky mind way there. Don't let those tricky thoughts take you away. So the best time to in society to go without food and water is anytime. Just fast, just do it. And when you do it, watch everybody else drink and eat. And every time you want to drink or eat, just tell yourself, no, no, no, no, no. Just keep saying that. Every time you think about eating or drinking, no, no. But watch everybody eat and drink. Look in your fridge, turn on your water, you know, go to the grocery store and look in where you usually buy your drinks, maybe, and look at them. You know, put yourself through a whirlwind of hell, if you will, please. Okay? Let yourself really understand your capacity, and not that, but mostly your awareness. Because we go through not thinking. Eating, drinking, eating, drinking, because we can. Nobody we're not away from it. It's everywhere. Food and water is everywhere. In our real-time societal living, why is anyone going without food and water? It's everywhere. Even when I chose to be homeless in my vehicle travel days or whatever, or putting myself, you know, uh in the wilderness for 30 days or whatever like that, or whatever it might be. You know, it was I I still did not go without food or water. The the mind, our thought process. Okay. We shouldn't even think things, we shouldn't even have terminology that that gives us an option to think divorce, perhaps. We shouldn't even have terminology that gives us an option to think hatred or or you know uh what what uh it might be to be thirsty or hungry, you know. I mean, to what degree, but yet at what point do we value our life when it's not compromised? At what point do we know uh how to be pain-free when we haven't experienced pain? So where is that joy when we don't know what the other is? So it's kind of a weird ball game out there, you know, it's a weird spectrum. And I know I've been talking about polarized or being like bipolar in your mind and saying, hey, go look at the food, go look at the water, turn it on, tempt yourself, do all that, discipline yourself, discipline yourself. Well, because it's everywhere every day, anyway. Get aware. That's what I said. It's about the awareness. Cause yourself to know that when you get in that shower, you've got water coming out of a tap right there. And you can adjust its temperature. And on those days that somebody else beats you to all that, and if you do happen to turn on that shower and all that comes out is cold water, do not exclaim, who took all the hot water? Be grateful for that cold water and what it does to you. Let it activate you. Let these different things be stimulating, as stimulating as the hunger pangs, as stimulating as going like this. I hope you can hear this. Okay, dried lips. I'm thirsty. Trying to get saliva. Okay, well, you can't even get your mouth to get saliva. You just gotta calm. But I need a drink, you might say. No, you just pull forth the reservoirs of self together. You already know that your body is eating, whether you are. See, your body is already doing all its work right now, it's already assimilating everything that's already in there. You could probably go a long time without eating. People that go maybe 40 days, like they say, I wanted to do what Jesus did, and compromise their organs. So then maybe some people say, Well, you should supplement with lemon water. You can you can fast 40 days and supplement with lemon water. So when I say challenge yourself, I don't mean, you know, really take yourselves to the brinks of death to where you're that far. But like what Alan said, that appreciation, when he took that drink, and then that dried lip, that dried mouth syndrome starts to go away, those cracked lips. You know, they start to dry up and crack, see? And there's a real physiological response. But I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Subject your body to your mind, subject your mind to the spirit, subject your spirit to that essence of God, and know that all is well and that you will be fine, and trust in that process, and know that your body is working in your behalf, and that you will get yourself found, you will get yourself noticed, you will get yourself to higher ground, you will get yourself to the water, the shelter, the fire, the food, you will get yourself to a better way of thinking so that you don't feel anxiety each day. You will get yourself to a better relationship. You will get yourself to a better position in your workplace. You will get yourself to a better position in how you go about knowing there is so much time available to you that you might as well go ahead and take a class or two or some time and give yourself the essence and things that can help you learn how to play guitar or how to make pottery or how to do things that you've never done before, that you've wanted to do, that you put off for what? For why? For how long? So no water equals no food. Don't do things that are going to cost you. Don't do things that dehydrate you. Don't do something when so think about this. Don't make decisions that will dehydrate your life. You don't want to be thirsting for things you can't have. It sucks. It's horrible. You don't want to be hungering for things you can't have. Get yourself well in your head. You don't need toxicity. So if you're in a bad relationship, no water, no food. I hope this formula is beginning to make a little sense, people. If you're in a bad job, no water, no food. Don't compromise yourself. Make yourself, see, a lot of things happen when you're working those eight plus hours a day, every day, and then you say, I don't have time to look for another job. I say, croc of crap. You know, you can lie to yourself all you want about everything, every day, all day long, but you also can fuel yourself to do the very opposite. Because if you can create toxicity, why can't you just go ahead and create some sort of genuinity and say that I am authentic and be that spirit self? Because, see, we're on that very last section of survival essentials, and all it says is no water, no food. So trust yourself. Give yourself the opportunities to become aware of what your blessings are and what you truly have. Be grateful for all things, whether they seem good, bad, right, wrong, or otherwise, because they're serving you. And go ahead and allow yourself to see what that service is. And that way you can continue to build your arsenal of knowledge and wealth and wisdom and a capacity that lends you favor under any circumstance. And it will continue to build and develop for you as you do that for yourself. That's it. What do you say? Anything?

SPEAKER_00

In regards to all that, you know, no no food equals no water. For me, anyways, was um I think about, you know, when I go to work, you know, and and when I think about that, how you were saying about in regards to work, for me in the in the past, I realized that, yeah, don't get taken advantage of anywhere you are. And when I think about work, I notice that sometimes we go into, I used to, I'd almost be kind of panicky, anxiety-driven before I met you, kind of a thing, and didn't really learn these things about survival essentials, about earth and spirit medicine. So I started to incorporate all these things over and over and over again. Uh, nowadays, when I go into work, people have a deeper appreciation for what I do and my work ethic and who I am. You know, it's really been a great benefit for me to where people now come, and work can be very relaxing for me because I've earned a respect, because I've given respect to everybody else through hard work, and I just I realized just not being taken advantage of and to stand up for myself. And so, in regards to this whole thing with necessity of no food equals no water, how you were just implementing relationships in workplace, I I can deeply relate to that. So excellent.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we want to feel good no matter where we are, and we definitely can. It just requires a little adjusting. That's what most of this is, and most of the adjusting is within our mind and getting our thoughts, words, feelings, and actions aligned to what we really want. It just takes a minute, but you'll get good at it, folks. And so we took a lot of breaks during this process of getting all of these episodes out. And so just grateful to any and all of you who continue to listen to these podcasts and find value. And I will say this time that uh yeah, you know, tell your loved ones, family, and friends, share this information. We we want to distribute the seeds that will prosper, abundance and prosperity in the way that we live on this planet. Kindness goes a long way. So we will close out all these episodes. We're going to do a review on food gathering, will be the next episode, and then we're going to do a final review on the entire survival essentials.
